What is a buyers agent?

A buyers agent, is a licensed agent, hired by the buyer, to represent them in the purchase of thier new home. This agent can be paid by either the buyer or seller and sometimes both.  Every situation is different.  A buyers agent will negotiate on the buyers behalf, for a better price, repairs, closing costs, move in date and more.  As a buyer it can sometimes be difficult to negotiate on your own behalf, expecially if you know the seller like we frequently do in rural America.
